The rugs in this category are for use in long hallways or on a staircase and are available in any length up to 90 feet. They are custom cut to your size and can be simply bound or fringed at no extra charge.
For a staircase, most carpet installers suggest ordering 1.5 feet per step, plus any desired footage that may extend across a landing or at the top or bottom of the staircase. Your installer can fold under "raw" ends at the top and bottom step for a clean appearance. Add 10% to the added length to allow the installer some extra leeway when installing.
For a hallway, the runner can be ordered in exactly the size needed. A rug pad is strongly recommended to prevent the runner from slipping on the floor.
These custom products require the purchase of a minimum of 8 feet and are not returnable. If you desire a length shorter than 8 feet, please mention this at the time of checkout (The minimum charge of 8' applies but we can cut them shorter for you.).
