We bought this rug 6 month ago to replace a hand knotted Afghan rug that I could never figure out how to decorate around in our mid century home. So far it is holding up well, even with a dog that tracks in most of the yard and who likes to scratch the rug before she lays down. (working on that one) It looks lovely, and is easy care. Shed a bit at first, but that quit after about a month, and wasn't really bad. I do suck up a lot of fiber, if I forget to disengage the beater on the vacuum, but the rug remains thick, soft and comfortable.
