Comments about HRI European 593 Multicolor Area Rug:
This rug is striking! The subtle tonal change of the colors is welcome in one area of my living room where it ties together a number of shades of red -- cranberry, brick, etc. -- I've used.
We own six wool area rugs and this one is, hands down, the softest. You can feel the softness through your shoes!
The only drawback is that the rug I received has a small flaw. When it arrived, I noticed the edge was unraveled a little bit in halfway down one side of the rug, exposing the warp. I knew a rug this size would be expensive to return. (Why must the seller bear the expense of return when a merchant sends a damaged product?!) I've positioned it to protect that edge and I hope it won't affect the rug's life.
I had some concerns about the size of this rug. I originally was going to place it in another location. Rugs like this aren't made by machines. I knew the size might vary a bit from the description. I provided the largest dimensions the space could accommodate. RugStudio staff alerted me that it was a bit larger than those and asked me if I wanted to proceed with the order. I appreciated that service. I decided to use it in another location -- I wanted this rug!
