Simply the best rug pad we've ever tested. Preserve the finish on your wood or tile floors and keep your rugs laying flat with our best rug pad. This pad is ideal for thin rugs such as needlepoints, Soumaks, and Dhurries. Thicker for a bit of cushion and very dense for comfort and protection on wood or tile. It can be used on any hard surface and features a built in reinforcment to prevent stretching and flattening over the years. Especially useful on uneven floors, such as tile, brick, slate, or saltillo. This pad is 1/4'' thick and should be trimmed 1-2 inches within the edge of your rug. Large sizes will arive in 4'6'' rolls for easy installation. Simply roll out each piece side by side (taping together is not necessary), lay the rug on top, then trim any excess with scissors. This pad is reversible and spot cleans with warm water and mild soap. Circular and odd sizes can easily be trimmed to fit the rug. This pad can also be used on each step under a stair runner. For indoor use only. Made in U.S.A.

Softer to the feet than most standard rug pads. Keeps area rugs and runners from moving. I purchased several 1/4 inch pads. They also come in 1/16 inch pads. I wish a 1/8 inch pad was available.

Used this pad under some new runners in my hallway. I couldn't believe how plush they made my rugs feel without adding to the thickness. They actually make the rugs feel more dense and expensive, in spite of how thin the padding is. They add a luxurious feel underfoot as you enter my home now. They are a bit expensive which is why I've only used them in the smaller, high-traffic areas of my house. Wish I could have afforded to buy them for my living and dining rooms. I hope to replace the so-so pad I currently have with this terrific cushion system. Thanks for a product that supassed my expectations.

I use this runner size pad under a 10' long runner. It protects my wood floor and keeps the rug from moving around a lot. The rug does move a little bit over time, but not enough to be a problem.

The rug pad was used on a hard word floor beneath a new 5 X 7 rug. Once placed on the floor it does not slip around. It arrived in two pieces, which allowed us to exactly fit it beneath the rug. It makes the rug feel super soft and plush.
