I got this rug and am really happy with it. The colors are just as expected, but the amount of texture applied to the patterns is something you can't really see in a flat image, and really makes the design special. Like most new wool rugs it is shedding, but not very much. I have it on a hard wood floor and found it necessary to put an additional non-slip pad underneath to keep it from moving.
