The picture makes it look like the colors include a lighter cream. In fact, the lighter patch shown at the bottom is gray and just as dark as long thin patch on the right side. The overall look is rather dark and dreary. However, the patterns include some nice texture. Some of the patches are thicker with inset flowers, and some are thinner with flowers that stick out a bit.
