Comments about Karastan Original Karastan Empress Kirman Multi 719 Area Rug:
Quality rug. Great in family room. Was immediately told that the free pad was an inferior product and was upsold to more expensive padding. This is a misleading business practice. A quality company would not offer a junk product in the first place. Star rating system is also misleading. Company tells you to rate the product, but the published review doesn't tell consumers that the rating is only for the product. In this case, 5 star rating appies for the product. 3 star overall rating for service... some aspects were 5 star, while others were 1 star. Please also see service comments.
Delivery was prompt. A couple returns were needed because the first rugs were much darker then they appeared online. Reurns handled promptly. Replacement products were much better. Service was very competent in some some respects, but not so competent in other aspects. Online ad clearly highlighted 20% off but didn't make it so clear that this did not apply to the Karastan rugs I wanted. Honestly not sure if I would recommend to a friend. Thank you.
