This is a beautiful carpet considering design, quality and price. The blue color tends to the grayer tones making it a subtler blue in decorating. The design offers schematic little color pops in the pattern to a add interest and texture throughout the rug yet blends in as a whole. I bought it in a ten foot round for a round dining table and it fits well. Perhaps the downside is because of the elaborate design the carpet can come across "busier" than I anticipated. I rearranged some art work to compliment it better and kept the rug. I haven't had it long enough to comment on wear.

The rug came earlier than I was told - nice surprise. But it took awhile to get the pad.

This rug is absolutely perfect! I might have been leery of ordering it without first seeing it in person. The very first rug I ever bought was a Karastan.
