I love the elegant oval shape, which I've only found in Safavieh rugs. I got the 4'4"x6'6", which is the perfect size to define the area in front of our couch, under the coffee table in our coquette "gathering room". The color is very nice, a bit warmer tone (more golden) than I see online but still fairly light, which is what we were looking for (yet not so light that any little dirt would show). It is thick and looks good quality, though unlike another Safavieh we got before, this one curled around the edges (solved by stacking books on for a while). The only real problem is that it is shedding, especially around the edges. The problem started after we first vacuumed it (with an iRobot, which started pulling threads at the edges). This is preventing us from using the iRobot in this room, which is a bother. The fraying ("shedding") especially around the edges is a concern--we've had it for nearly a month and I'm hoping it will stop, that's why I don't give it 5 stars. The design and subtle combination of colors (for an overall pale golden-ish) with splashes of muted red is very handsome. Overall, I would recommend it with the caveat that one might need to be careful when vacuuming it.

The rug is beautiful. The colors are muted but it hides dirt and stains well. I was concerned that the red might be too bright but it's not. We've had the rug for about 2 months and it still fills up the vacuum with fuzz each time we vacuum. It's hard to tell how durable it will be since it's still shedding so much. It does have a little bit of fray around the highest traffic areas but that seems to vacuum away. Uncertain how durable it will turn out to be.
