This rug is so cute, but I have to vacuum it everyday. The dark colors get shedding fibers from my other uber-shedding rug on them and it shows up alot! I have the circular rug and the edges still do not lie flat after weeks of having the rug and placing heavy books on the edges. The ends are not well-made. I can see gaps in the stitching. I am marking that I would recommend it to the friend, but only with all of the above caveats. At the end of the day, it's a cute rug and it wasn't that expensive.
