Comments about Sphinx by Oriental Weavers Caspian 859D6 Area Rug:

I could not find a review anywhere online for this rug when I purchased it - so for anyone looking, here's my two cents!
I really love the design and colors of the rug. However, I think you get what you pay for. As this is a large rug, for a relatively inexpensive price, expect something not too comfortable. It is not a deep, thick woven rug. During the day, the rug looks great. but at night, with just our overhead light on, you can see through the weave, to the white underneath at certain angles. I think that would be the biggest downside, is that its just not a thick tight weave. We did purchase a 1/3" thick jute rug pad, and so we are happy with the overall purchase in the end. And again, I really do like the design and colors.
