The fun geometry of this rug reminds me of rolls of film becoming untangled from an old movie camera. So, I anchored the media room/home theater with this rug, and it worked perfectly in keeping with the theater theme...in a subtle way. I pulled out the burgandy accent color in the rug by creating an accent wall and pillows. We had old reels for film that we hung throughout the room, as well as framed black and white photos of actors and actresses from the early days of Hollywoodland, resulting in a harmonious, but fun, cohesion.
