A striped multicolored Armenian Gabbeh weave rug. This handcrafted Armenian Horizon rug was made in Armenia with 100% wool with a weave similar to the Iranian Gabbeh. The vibrant colors used in this design are created using all natural vegetable based dyes. The design of this Horizon rug was crafted with the individual creativity of the weavers who use their own inspirations for the design, making it a one-of-a-kind work of art. This pattern incorporates bold striations of color which have a muted effect created with the incorporation of black throughout the design. The edges of each color fade into each other instead of creating hard lines. The underlying colors include royal blue, mustard yellow, white, orange and berry red.
