From James Tufenkian:
This Gendge Gul rug was handcrafted in Armenia of 100% wool using our Kazak weave which has a plush pile height of about a third of an inch. Historically Gendge rugs were woven in the town of Gendje and were most often produced as runners with designs resembling Kazaks, except for a more prominent use of light blue and ivory and the frequent use of small, repeating design elements. This rug is an interpretation of the Caucasian rugs and features an olive green field adorned in floral and star motifs. This item has been discontinued and only the size(s) listed here are available.
