This handcrafted Armenian Horizon rug was made in Armenia with 100% wool with a weave similar to the Iranian Gabbeh. The vibrant colors used in this design are created using all natural vegetable based dyes. The design of this Horizon rug was crafted with the individual creativity of the weavers who use their own inspirations for the design, making it a one of a kind work of art. This pattern incorporates bold striations of color which are muted by adding in a neutral orange color into each stripe of color. The edges of each color fade into each other instead of creating hard lines. The underlying colors include dark blue, mustard yellow, pale blue black and rust red.
