This Armenian Horizon rug was made in Armenia using 100% wool colored with vegetable based dyes. The weave of this rug is similar to the Iranian Gabbeh. The weavers use their creativity to create the designs of the Horizon rugs which is unlike any process we normally use. This Horizon rug is a compilation of multicolored yarn woven in individual knots to create a rug with no definable pattern or colorway. The primary colors are mostly blue and red hues which give it a purple look to it from a distance, yellow, orange, ivory and black are also intermixed. The variety of color creates a carpet that is flexible in a variety of settings and will coordinate with almost any accent colors in your design.
